What a great discovery! This charming little spot only has a few seats, but that’s just fine. I decided to take my coffee to go and enjoyed it in the nearby park. The service was fantastic. In contrast, I had a disappointing experience at The Grind in Courtenay, where I was served a latte that was scalding hot. When I asked the barista about it, she explained that this is their usual way of preparing coffee. I wasn't impressed with the service, but I assume it was just that particular person. I needed a second cup to pour my drink into, and both cups were still steaming, so I had to wait quite a while before I could enjoy my coffee, which ended up tasting burnt.
Cute little cafe, you go in and order and go outside and pick up your food and coffee from the side. Nice but limited seating area outside and welcoming workers. Would go again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Absolutely awful service. Very rude red head/strawberry blond woman working who was treated the elderly woman in front of me and myself like garbage. This woman treats everyone so horribly and the manager does nothing about it. Save your money and go somewhere else. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$10–20
