I ordered the egusi with chicken and pounded yams, and having tried Nigerian and Ghanaian cuisine many times, I can confidently say this lacked any flavor. I decided to give the egusi soup a shot since I had just tried it for the first time yesterday and was unsure of my feelings about it. Unfortunately, this egusi soup was a letdown—very bland yet salty. However, the spiced goat with fufu was fantastic and truly saved the meal.
