Free parking across the pedestrian walkway is almost always full, and the street meters are likewise occupied due to the popularity of nearby restaurants. We checked the hours of operation on Yelp for Monday, and it indicated they were open until 9 PM. We drove all the way from Century City, only to find the restaurant closed at 8 PM. Lovely patio dining spot at the far end of the pedestrian mall at Helms Bakery District. The prices are very reasonable, everything we tried food wise was tasty, and service was constant. There was more to see inside, but as we wished to sit outside, we didn't linger to check it out. Next time. My tuna melt on fresh baguette was just right with the seasoning and amount of Mayor.
