We were there when t... read more This was the best French food we've had since the beginning of 2017 here in France. We had plat du jour for lunch and it was all delicious. We were there when the market was there too. We are fans of the movie the Good Year, and the pond next to the restaurant (l'etang ) is one of the locations.

Limited menu but well prepared food using local ingredients, although veg lacks variety and could be a bit warmer. Service is quick, perhaps a little too quick, and the staff make little attempt to help those who don't speak French. Booking essential at busy periods, especially if you want a table next to l'etang. Special mention for the chocolate and caramel tart.

The food was excellent, the service was efficient, and the price was reasonable.My wife and I last visited two years ago, since when there's been a noticeable improvement.
