What pacakapina dislikes about Adega Da Lua:
Its a typical Alentejo restaurante, the food was proper as most of the restaurants in the area, based on pork grilled meat , “migas” etc, the portions were generous meaning that 1 portion was enough for 2 people (average eaters). The downside was the waiting . We were a family of 7 and we had a baby. We waited almost 1 hour for our meal to arrive to the table. The restaurant is big with a lot of covers, my feeling wa... Fantastic tradicional Alentejo region food but with a Chef touch. Good wine selection and outstanding staff and environment.
Visited here 2 days ago 21st September we were the first ones in there. Was served by a very friendly young girl very helpful. It was then busy with just 2 tables empty. The owners visited every other table to talk but didn't even look at us, and passed our table many times. Was a lovely meal a little expensive Not given a choice of potatoes or chips but was given crisps.
The restaurant staff was very friendly and flexible in allowing us to get in with our dog. The food was very nice and the atmosphere is great. Definitely a place to go back!
Spectacular mom pop alentejano dinner. Ask for a jarro of house wine and get delighted with fresh olives apetizer and house bread. Our favorite, almeijoas, a kind of tiny mussels, seasoned at perfection. Worth to try, camaroes grelhados (grilled shrimps) and sardinhas (grilled sardines).

The restaurant is big with a lot of covers, my feeling was that the kitchen was not enough for so many eaters. The place is a very nice typical old adega. With nice atmosphere.
