Wonderful experience, it is a very cozy restaurant with a very beautiful decoration and good taste. The food is good and at the end we had the privilege of listening to the Alentejo songs, which was lovely. I just don't give 5 stars because the kind of treatment and attention they give depending on whether the customers are known or not is notorious, which should not happen. Its a typical Alentejo restaurante, the food was proper as most of the restaurants in the area, based on pork grilled meat , “migas” etc, the portions were generous meaning that 1 portion was enough for 2 people (average eaters). Visited here 2 days ago 21st September we were the first ones in there. Was served by a very friendly young girl very helpful. It was then busy with just 2 tables empty. The owners visited every other table to talk but didn't even look at us, and passed our table many times. Was a lovely meal a little expensive Not given a choice of potatoes or chips but was given crisps.
Unique experience of traditional Portuguese cuisine and welcoming from the host. the in this case his owner. hugos combined tradition and modern with nothing but excellent for service. you will find yourself away from him and a part of this amazing place. prepare for another customer service experience. strongly recommended
The restaurant staff was very friendly and flexible in allowing us to get in with our dog. The food was very nice and the atmosphere is great. Definitely a place to go back!
