It was n... read more We are residents of Cuernavaca who are often in Cuautla. We continue to look for a good place to eat and hoped that Mision Cotija would be a good find. It was not to be. We both ordered the tampiqueña and were disappointed with the quality and the flavor of the meal. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong thing and would have been luck with something else. However, after one bad meal we will rarely return to give them a second chance.

This is one that is worth my time to write a review because of their service, good food and cleanses. They said if the bathroom is kept in a good working order then everything else...will be good. In this case this is true . Food is really good, they have a variety of fruit and fruit juices available to choose from. Also they have at least a couple of different soups to choose and a variety of dishes, including chilaquiles which happen to be my favorite. They also offer egg omelettes. A tradicional Mexican bread and cafe Americano wich I liked. Did not try the cafe de la olla . had that coffee in a different restaurant, didn 't care for it, but I will try it next time in this place to be fair). Overall it was a great experience having breakfast there, twice. Highly recommend Mission Cotija.
