We had a great time. Signed up for the all you can eat buffet which basically meant selecting and cooking your own meat supplemented by side dishes and salads. They even have desert included. This is a real down to earth place for people who want to meet and chat. We all had a great time and left with smiles.Hints: Don't expect five star service. The service is up to you. Don't forget to order your table prior to pay... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wagyu House:
I heard about this place over and over from friends & colleagues and every time I pass this place, there was a long queue so I thought it must be really great! It was not at all, a total nightmare. Table was not even cleaned and the pot was so oily and greasy- when asked to clean it, the reply was "we're going to put a mesh on top so it's ok". WHAT?? VERY UNHYGIENIC! It took 30mins for charcoal to be ready (no wonder... View all feedback.
Upshot cheap, smells great past, busy tables, experience, fresh meat, instant change of bbq plate midshot parking still close to main street, series, offering sushi, quality of meat marinated lowshot area, seafood, sushi, help for first timer, limited fruits/dessert
Driven past this Korean restaurant on many occasions and each time the venue is filled with diners. You do get a waft of smokey BBQ also so I had to try it. I took my 13 year old nephew and 3 adults. The idea here...is you BBQ your own meat or vegetables of your choice and there are plenty of hot and cold side dishes to accompany your BBQ platter including sauces. Freshly cut pieces of pork, beef, lamb and chicken marinaded a few ways, including calamari and fresh prawns. Dessert is a variety of traditional asian fruits and icecream! The decor was street food grunge and looked disorganised, you had to walk to their other place for your side's, you'll know what I mean if you decide to visit. For $29.90 per person all you can eat and a 2 hour limit, it's pretty worth it.
Birthday Dinner with 15 adults and 5 kids. Had prior reservation. Arrived at 6:55 pm 5 minutes ahead of scheduled time. There was a light downpour from a thunderstorm. Parking was full and we had to park a block further south. The restaurant consisted of...two one-storey buildings separated by a driveway and parking for about 8 cars. Place required to pay first before eating. We opted for buffet at A$39 per adult and discounted rates for kids. Two male waiters were not courteous and had to be prodded to serve us. We were seated in 5 tables by the semi-outdoor portion fronting the main street. This was a Korean Grill restaurant. There were assorted beef (probably grade 0 or 1 if this were really Wagyu), Pork, chicken, goat, squid, kimchi, vegetables, mushrooms and the usual condiments.
We've been to this please several times. I think the variety is excellent, best value for money in Sydney Korean BBQ. But I have to say, the staff are amazing! Most hard-working I've ever seeing! The girl at the reception desk tonight was working extremely...hard due to staff shortage but she was delivering first class service. Well done, any employer should be happy to have such hard-working people. I highly recommend the place:
Best place to go if your going for Korean Barbecue for the first time. Quite affordable with all you can eat for $30 quality justified for the price. A good selection available through the two hours you are given
