Cool and cheap during Happy Hour (4 7 Monday to Friday) ! £2:50 for a pint got to be a good deal. At 5on a Friday the bar was fairly quiet so sat at bar. Staff friendly and efficient. A cool sophisticated atmosphere with good sounds. View all feedback.
What Dylan Wood doesn't like about Dice:
unless you are willing to bride the bouncer or are one of the man dem' you won't be allowed in this dive. Dice? Roll on boxpark Westfield! These developments will finally give the hard working people of Croydon a decent Friday night out View all feedback.
If I could give this club 0 stars, I would. It doesn't even deserve the one star I gave it just so I could leave a review! I don't usually leave ratings unless something has really bothered me. My sister, friend, and I decided to go out for Easter Sunday to let our hair down, as we hadn't seen each other in a long time. When we arrived, my friend went over politely to the security doing ID checks to explain that she had forgotten her physical ID but had it on her phone, and both my sister and I had ours. The security man turned around and said, "No, I'm not letting you in, but if you came with men, I would have let you in." It was clear he was being sexist, suggesting he would have allowed her in if we were accompanied by men. Despite this, we tried to ask him nicely if there was any way he could let us in, but he refused. My friend decided to go home, and as I knew the organizer, I went back to see if anything could be done, assuring her I would update her from the car. My sister and I returned (with our IDs) to once again try to enter, but the same security guy remarked, "Oh, so you left your little friend," and laughed. At this point, I was not amused and found the comment uncalled for. I handed him my ID without responding, to which he replied, "I don't like your attitude." When I questioned what attitude I had displayed, he abruptly told me I wouldn't be allowed in. I was shocked as I've never been turned away from a club for my "attitude," especially after he had made an inappropriate comment about my friend. He then allowed my sister to enter by herself, despite her reluctance to go to a party without me. The organizer was not present, so we ultimately left. The treatment we received from the security guy was terrible and disgusting. I will be sure to leave a review on every platform possible, warning others not to go to this club. I will never set foot in this establishment again. I, along with the people I came with, work hard and should not be spoken to as if we were nothing. There are plenty of other clubs in Croydon to visit. We paid £11 for this event, only to be turned away by a security person who clearly had no proper training on how to treat people. It's a shame that he represented Dice in such a negative manner, using his position at the door to try and assert his authority. Dice needs to choose their staff more carefully, as this individual has greatly disappointed the club. I only wish I knew his name to warn others. Please do not waste your time at this club. I will also warn others in my large following. Now, I have to deal with getting our tickets refunded.
This is without a doubt the worst bar my family and I have ever visited! If I could give zero stars, I would. To start, the place resembles a dungeon and smells like a restroom! The seats are covered in urine stains and reek of urine as well. When we tried to order a drink at the bar, we were rudely informed that it was table service only (likely due to Covid). We waited for about half an hour, but no one came to serve us. The table in front of us, who arrived after us, was served before us. Eventually, someone took our order, but it took about 20 minutes to bring us three beers, despite there being six people at the table ahead of us receiving prompt service. I came to watch the football game with my friends, and my nephew had another table booked with his friends. When he tried to buy me a drink at the bar and have it sent to our table, he was accused of lying and threatened, even though he had not even had a drink himself yet. The situation was completely unacceptable, and we were horrified by the treatment we received. The staff, including a woman named Farrah who seemed to be in charge, were extremely rude and unprofessional. We also spoke to the security staff, who mentioned that this was not the first incident involving the aggressive male staff member. It is outrageous that they continue to allow such behavior to occur. In conclusion, if you enjoy being threatened and treated horribly in a setting that resembles a public restroom, then this is the perfect place for you. Otherwise, I would strongly advise avoiding this establishment at all costs. It is high time for this place to be shut down. Shanaide.
I celebrated my 50th birthday at this restaurant and had a wonderful night out. The staff were incredibly friendly and I definitely plan on returning. I traveled from my hometown to make the occasion special and had a great time with my two daughters. Just a reminder to bring photo ID if you visit in the evening, as they have strict entry requirements.
We did a cocktail making class for a hen party we bought off wowCher for £8 each we had a separate section of the bar for us the staff were lovely very cheeky chappy type guys made us feel comfortable there was music so it was a real feel good activity worth doing
This is one of my favourite clubs in London your always guaranteed to have a great time here the music is great and so is the vibe I love that it's small and intimate my only suggestion would be that they invest in fans because it gets hot when you dance all night like me.
