I took one bite an... read more Almost everything I have had at Cousins is awsome and I never thought I would be disappointed... However, today I tried the banana pudding... I took one bite and spit it out. It was gritty, like it was made from a powder. I am not sure if this is theirusual recipe or they tried something new, as this was my first time trying it... As it stands, I won't pay for it again... Now,I would like to emphasize that it's ONLY the banana pudding. Everything else I have tried has been amazing!! Fix that and it's 5stars!!!

The chopp... read more I used to dine here regularly, but my most recent visit was disappointing. The pulled pork sandwich was mostly fat, and the fried okra was overcooked. The chopped beef appeared as if it had already been eaten and was overly salty. It's such a shame because this used to be a great restaurant. I'm quite sad about it.

I decided to try the three-meat plate, which included ribs, brisket, and chicken, accompanied by coleslaw and collard greens as my sides. They also offered a tempting chocolate chip cookie that I saved for later. The sides were delightful on their own, but when I took my first bite of the meats, I was overwhelmed with joy. Each meat had a perfect crust, a flavorful smoke ring, and just the right level of tenderness. This BBQ was truly exceptional!

The pickup process was incredibly slow, with my last visit resulting in a 35-minute wait at the counter. To make matters worse, the food was cold and not very good. Considering the high prices, I expected at least decent service and quality, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. On our most recent order, which exceeded $100, we didn't even receive half of what we had ordered. The person at the front counter was confrontational, and with a line of waiting customers, we decided to leave. I won't be spending my money here again.
