We visited this charming small restaurant and ordered the chicken parmesan to go. The dish was authentic, incredibly delicious, and came in a generous portion. My husband noted that the interior was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. We highly recommend this restaurant! View all feedback.
What Sarab Shakti doesn't like about Eatalia On The Hudson:
The owner is one of the angriest meanest people I?ve ever met. The food was fine and the waitress was nice, but supporting a literal DEMON will be a no from me. I don?t need to pay extra to be abused. I recommend the Olive Garden over this cause atleast you?re family there. The owner adds random fees to the bill and they all say ?open container?, if you ask him about thesefees he will come into the dining room and sc... View all feedback.
Absolutely the best pizza in croton! the family recipe comes from italia, but imported in croton in 1975. sam the owner and grande of.
We arrived with a group of hungry and tired photographers after a 2.5 hrs photo walk in a nearby state park. The friendly staff was able to accommodate us and we had large plates of delicious Italian food. One suggestion. After seven miles of walking inthe sun, we like pitchers of water on the table which we were not able to get. I understand that the business wants to sellbeverages. I will tip generously for water. Other than that an excellent experience.

I was amazed. That's all I can say. There were some mistakes on our bill and when I inquired about them, the waiter called over the owner. The owner explained that the extra charge was for the additional bread we had requested. I was surprised at the high price for bread and expressed my hesitation to pay for it. Instead of clarifying the charge, the owner became aggressive and began to defend himself by listing all the reasons why he deserved the money. I was shocked and speechless, which is unusual for me. He even used inappropriate language. Our bill, including tip, came to $140 for two pasta dishes and two appetizers, with no drinks or side dishes. I tried to communicate that there is a better way to address customers, but he was not interested. He instructed the waiter to ask us to leave. I definitely will not return to this restaurant and will make sure others are aware of this poor experience.
This restaurant is extremely expensive. The shrimp cocktail costs $16 and only had 4 shrimp, which were not good quality. The soup was too salty to eat. The pizza tasted like it was made from frozen dough. The only dish worth mentioning was the stuffed mushrooms, but they were also overpriced at $18 for 4 tiny mushrooms. I spent a total of $100 on 4 appetizers and a pizza, which was not worth the price. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it to others. It is not worth the money.
