What Dennise Santaniello doesn't like about Pappous Greek Kitchen:
Had pork gyro. Meat was chunks of fat and could not be chewed. After we told the owner of our situation his response was that's how the pork is. Ate there before and was always very satisfied. Very poor customer relations with the managerFood: 1/5 View all feedback.

Bottom line: One of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Even before you walk inside Pappous Greek Kitchen (PGK), the amazingly enticing aroma of grilled food greets you, and makes it known that you're about to love the coming experience. PGK is unpretentious, down-to-earth, welcoming, and makes you immediately comfortable. And that's good, because you're about to eat way too much wonderfully delicious food served by a fast, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient waitstaff. Everything we ordered was excellent. This is simply the best Greek food in the area, and maybe the surrounding three counties. The only problem is that they've set the bar so high, I won't be going to any other Greek restaurant; this is it for me. Practice some self care and GO TO PAPPOUS GREEK KITCHEN. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Appetizer Platter, Grilled Octopus, Pita Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
Lamb Souvlaki Platter was terrible, the meat was hard, I wish they would slow cook the meat first and then grill them later when they are ready to be ordered, its way too hard to chew or the meat is old. The rice from the lamb platter was also hard and undercooked. The Greek Salad was delicious. I ask for sauce on side for the chicken gyro and they never followed my instruction. My husband opened his gyro, it was smothered in white sauce which he doesnt like so he ended up throwing it away. I have had way better, flavorful Greek food. Overpriced and overrated.
