Shoney's - Crossville

I had just checked into a hotel so that I could get some sleep, but I wanted to get a bite to eat first. I stopped by Shoney's since I haven't been to one in years. The menu was more limited than I remembered. I ended up getting their Slim Jim, which was tasty. The restaurant closes at 8:00, which I didn't realize when I went there, and service worsened the longer I was there.I sat without a drink refill for close to 5 minutes before I flagged someone. Had I gone here earlier in the day, I feel confident that I would have had a better experience.

A group of 8 of us women stopped for lunch last Thursday. Everyone ate from the buffet. The soup was not on the food bar. One of the ladies wanted only soup. The waitress did not bring her a bowl of soup from the kitchen. It was not busy. I asked the waitress about the soup several times with no response. I was disappointed in this. The resturant was clean and pleasant. The buffet was very good. My favorite food from the menu is the slim jim sandwich . I like to eat at Shoneys but...

I just moved here from Reno, NV. Shoneys is a childhood favorite I visited in La. In Crossville, I found Ms. Rachel to be the shining example of hospitality and service in the restaurant business. GREAT FOOD GREAT HOMETOWN SERVICE!!!

Everything my wife and myself had was good food all of it was good and warm that we had the people at the tables around us all spoke to each other the atmosphere was out of this world everybody said Merry Christmas who was the gentleman behind me I don't know who it was when he left he paid our bill and never said a word we didn't even know it but all in all we had a 100% great evening the way to lose went out of their way to help my wife she had trouble swallowing and so we had to hang around there for like an hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours to let her eat slow they said don't worry about it anything we can do for you let us know they came back to our table several times to see how my wife was doing and access if we needed anything the people at the table next to us had a conversation with us that was really nice and that guy behind us did talk to us didn't say a whole lot nice gentleman he had a long beard there was a lot of gray in it he had long hair he looked like he was about 65 or 70 it was there may have been gray in his beard but to myself and my wife he was our Santa Claus this year so Merry Christmas to everyone

Went for Thanksgiving. Food was good. Service was good. Would definitely go again!
