What Joe Everhart doesn't like about Cancun Mexican:
As Mexican Restaurants go the food here is above average. My wife had Arrzo Con Pollo- Grilled Chicken and I had the Fajitas Nachos Jalisco. Mine had steak, chicken, shrimp, green peppers and onions with cheese on chips. The green peppers were maybe thebest I?ve had at a Mexican restaurant. Really enthusiastic and attentive staff! We wanted to go for Taco Bell (next door) while we drove from Nashville to Knoxville, but I went to check if Cancun had some vegetarian and what a surprise! Not only do they have veg elements, but they even have a “vegetarian combos” area on their menu. The staff was so enjoyable and friendly for vegetarians that I ran out to bring my husband in quickly. Very delicious. They even let me add beautified veggies to my record. You have a second location about 1 mile away on 1282 N. Main Street also in Crossville, Tennessee. Great place to stop with friends and family. We brought a large group and accompanied more than 19 people. The food came fresh and fast. The service was great, friendly and fast. Thanks for making our night special.
The service was great. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Water, Chips and salsa were given, and our order was taken. The portions were perfect. We will definitely visit again when we return.
We enjoyed the steak taco salads we ordered, plenty of food, waitress was very nice and so was the staff. We were seated immediately and presented with chips and salsa even though they were very busy. We ordered some sweet tea and a glass of wine and it was on our table within a minute. It's pretty obvious that the people enjoy this restaurant because everyone is having conversation and smiling laughing with each other and with the staff. Very clean, very decent place to enjoy a meal, been there twice and both times all was well. No complaints no regrets with plenty of food.
This was what was left after eating only 1 of 2 Shredded Chicken Burritos and less than half of my rice....which was leftovers for dinner last night. I'm from the South and my grandmother, Mammy, told me the greatest compliments a cook can get are empty plates...except when the portions are so big you unbuckle your belt after eating only half. My wife had a frozen margarita. It was the best she has ever had. I was driving and didn't get more than a taste. It was fantastic. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was great...and friendly. The food was fantastic. The prices were more than fair. What's keeping you?
