Cattlemens is a great place to eat. Service is always spot on, if not a little bit slow at times, the atmosphere is awesome; lots of the walls are adorned with interesting decorations. The food, oh man, don't even get me started on the food. This place was the first time I was ever able to try a rack of lamb and boy it did not disappoint at all, alongside all of their other classic dishes, like the Filet Mignon, or t... What Arabella Gordon doesn't like about Cattlemens Restaurants: Redding In Redd:
Prime rib is tricky. I was there early so mine was raw. The server took it to sizzle and came back raw again. I can eat tartare so I was okay but the cowboy steak (ribeye) is the better pick. View all feedback.
Plan on slow service but good food. Under staffed in my opinion.
I originally had issues getting our order a few months ago. The assistant manager sent me a gift card to try them again and they messed the order up again. So he made it right by sending another gift card. This time everything was on point. No missing food everything was great service was great. Thank you

Overall I would like to give Cattleman's a 4 star review, but I can't. The food was very good. We were staying in a hotel next door die to medical requirements and ate at Cattleman's 3 nights in a row. Every single order something was missing. From butter, beans, to aioli sauce for a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger came with ketchup and aioli sauce. The cheeseburger we got? Had nothing. No condiments period. It was partially eaten dry from being in a hotel. If the food hadn't been good my review would have been alot worse.
I went to Cattleman's for a birthday celebration. The service was great! Waitress was friendly and attentive and did a small celebration for the birthday lady, which was kind. The food. Great salad and warm sour dough bread. I ordered a cup of chili, which had a good flavor, a very small portion for $5. Not even 8 ounces, maybe 4 ounces. The prime rib was not the best quality, no seasoning and a bit dry, and the outer edges were overcooked, the prices do not reflect the quality. The drinks. Not strong at all, average pricing, my drink tasted like it was loaded with sugar and not much alcohol. I will not be rushing back, but I will revisit in the future likely for the happy hour.
