I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Taste of Belgium. My wife and I decided to have breakfast for dinner, and we feasted on eggs, potatoes, sausages, goetta, and croissants. The croissants were truly exceptional! However, they didn't serve regular coffee. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taste Of Belgium:
The service was excellent, even though there was just one server for the entire evening. However, I was taken aback when I discovered that my single glass of Chardonnay cost $12.50! Can you believe it? The menu was only available via a QR code, which directed me to a general menu where I couldn't see the prices before ordering. Because the restaurant is located in the usa, the US currency must be accepted. next time I will only have cash with me and if the restaurant does not accept cash, it will compensate my meal. my money is legal.
Great beer selection! But the food was unimpressive. Salads and entrees were drowned in dressing and sauce.
I really like Taste of Belgium, but it's slow going with service. They could use more help getting food out before it cools off.
Arrived around 12:15 pm. Stood at the front with about 20 other people for over 30 minutes. Finally decided to try and reserve a table since more and more people were coming in. No one ever came to speak to us. It got to be 12:50 and we decided to leave. Being under staffed is not the issue, a manager should’ve been upfront or at least helping. No manager was in sight. Multiple people in the large crowd were commenting on the horrible service they’ve at this specific one. All the workers just looked at everyone standing up front and said nothing. Someone did ask the bartender what was going on and all she said was the host was bussing tables, I saw a girl with red box dyed hair removing one single plate at a time. Urgency is needed. I love the food and drinks here. But if this is how it’s going to be now, I will not return this one
We had a 12:30 reservation. Upon arrival the hostess walked away from the stand and after 20 minutes still never came back. I went to the bar and they stated she was helping clear tables etc. No one came up to where a now large group was waiting to be seated so we ended up leaving. The last time I was there the service was terrible and now this. I’m no longer considering TOB at Crestview Hills for brunch. Extremely disappointing.
