This restaurant is wonderful - the staff is welcoming and friendly. We decided to have lunch here and we were not disappointed. The menu had a wide variety of options including full meals, lighter bites, hot sandwiches, and homemade soup. Our food was served quickly, hot, and clearly freshly prepared. It was delicious, reasonably priced, and we will definitely be returning for more. View all feedback.

Very average….food, ambience and service Menu is average pub food but we were disappointed with the scampi (battered) rather than breadcrumbed and my steak and ale pie ….the pastry was hard as rock in some parts and soggy in others. The chips were delicious and the redeeming factor on both dishes. View all feedback.

If you want a great country pub, then you can’t go wrong. Lovely feel as you walk in, good selection of beers, good menu and the food is well presented, good quality ingredients and very tasty. Finally the landlord and staff make you feel part and parcel. I’ll be going back again
