This has to be the cosiest place I have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, comfortable and cosy. A roaring fire greeted us from the bitter cold outside which was as warm as the welcome from the staff. The room was comfortable and spotless. Highly Recommend View all feedback.
What Janet A doesn't like about The Traddock:
We came in january then again last week. very disappointed to be told by the owner to put our dog on a lead. i apologise if i missed it in the brochure. But a little rude in front of people. And our dog is Very Very well behaved View all feedback.
We booked the Traddock for dinner with one of our wine suppliers and his wife and were not disappointed. We had a lovely evening and the food was 10 out of 10. I can particularly recommend the halibut. The atmosphere at the Traddock is refined, but really relaxed and friendly. Need to eat here a little more often.
Beautiful Sunday lunch, the roast potatoes were better than home made. Perfect beef as well. Would highly recommend for this and the tasting menu we had a few months ago.
This hotel is a gem!! Set in outstanding countryside, with a super garden, the experience is of care, gentility and pure Englishness. Foreign visitors will love it. Evening drinks on the terrace, sparrows nesting, warm welcome, good food and service , what more could you want?. The whole area is beautiful . Can't wait to go back.x
