What User likes about Strid Wood Tea Rooms:
We stopped for coffee and lunch. We sat at the back watching the birds in the trees. Service was prompt, coffee delicious and toasted sandwhich nicely served and tasty. The staff were lovely. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Strid Wood Tea Rooms:
I ordered bacon sandwiches. The quality of the bread was good, but there was only a small amount of bacon- the bare minimum, in fact. Overall, it was disappointing. The staff was not very friendly. View all feedback.

A warm welcome and friendly service. Lovely coffee and yummy cakes. The toasties and bacon rolls are really moorish! A great place to stop at the end of a walk.

I don't normally leave reviews but I couldn't believe the price of an ordinary cheese toastie at £6.95 and the same price for a plain ham sandwich. Nothing spec...

Nestled near Bolton Abbey, the Abbey Tea Rooms offers a mixed bag of experiences. Diners rave about the homemade cakes and light meals, noting particularly delightful coffee and scones, especially after a scenic walk. However, some patrons express disappointment over the portion sizes, lack of warmth from the staff, and inflated prices for simple sandwiches. While reviews highlight superb service during busy periods, others report uncomfortable interactions. Overall, the tea rooms provide a charming pit stop, with the potential for memorable meals if improvements in service and menu value are made.
