Myself and 3 friends were at the Apple patch today 8th jan for a birthday lunch. We have been here on several occasions and would normally rate as 5*. Unfortuna... read more Myself and 3 friends were at the Apple patch today 8th jan for a birthday lunch. We have been here on several occasions and would normally rate as 5*. Unfortunately due to a waitress attitude being atrocious this ruined our lunch. We whereeing shown to a table directly opposite the door which would have been draughty and asked could we sit on opposite side. She literally threw 4 heavy menus at the table said it was for 6 people and stormed off!!!!! I mentioned this to our server said I didnt appreciate the way we had been spoken too but sadly this server didnt want to be involved. No apology . We will not be back.

We enjoyed every as... read more My wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday, where we ordered a cup of coffee and a sandwich to hold us over until dinner. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit except for the prices. Our total bill came out to just over £20 for two sandwiches, a tea, and a coffee. While the quality of the food and service were what you would expect from a cafe, we found the sandwiches to be a bit pricey at £6.80 each, and even more expensive at £7.90 if toasted, compared to other places.

The food is excellent, especially the breakfast options. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a delightful place to dine.
