Staff literally stood behind the bar lookin... read more What on earth is going on in this restaurant? We waited 15 minutes to be seated at our table despite it being quiet. Staff literally stood behind the bar looking at us but were too busy talking to come over. We were eventually seated and our order was taken. We waited 60 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did the chips were cold and part of our order was wrong. At this stage were that hungry we just ate what had been brought. We then sat with dirty plates for another 35 minutes until eventually I went to find a member of staff to clear the table as we wanted to order desserts. Another 15 mins passed and eventually our dessert order was taken. The pizzas were very good and the burgers were tasty but this is a diner style restaurant not fine dining so I wouldn't expect exceptional food and neither would I expect such a long wait to get food the wait ruined the whole experience. When the desserts finally arrived we had no cutlery to eat them with and had to ask. To be honest the desserts were not worth the wait or the money they are all bought in and what sounded good on the menu certainly underwhelmed us. They had a dime smores cake with fresh cookie dough that sounded amazing but when it came it was a disappointment. We were never asked the entire time if we wanted more drinks and this is how restaurants make money servers should be asking diners if they need more drinks throughout their meal. The restaurant is grubby and the menus are filthy to the point we wouldn't touch 2 of them. This is unacceptable why would you present your diners with dirty menus. The toilets are disgusting and need a good clean if that is on view in the public eye what are the areas such as the kitchen like that you don't see. It definitely isn't worth the money they are charging and the management need to really look at staff training and improve drastically on customer service. There should be no restaurant in this day and age where customers have to wait that long for food and have to physically search for servers. Very poor experience I would not recommend this restaurant.

Now there were too many... read more I dine here occasionally and it can be a bit hit and miss. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and efficient. Now there were too many of them and they need a bit better managed, bit they certainly did an OK job. Our order was taken quickly and our food arrived within 25 minutes. That is fairly good for here. I had a steak sandwich and I have to say it was good. Cooked how I asked, tasty, well presented. My only very small observation is the plate was very biege. A small salad would have made that plate way more appealing. We ordered milkshakes apiece. Mine was the wrong sort but I didn't bother complaining. I was happy enough with the one brought. The background noise is quite high. I think it might be the low roof, but as I am hearing impaired this can make things difficult. All in all this was a good experience. Some small staffing tweaks and this would go from reasonable to good.

Only I personally Hate the music being so loud we have to talk loud to have a conversation. Tonight it was very quite compared to its usual customers so Service was quicker than usual. Food was served and we waited after asking a few staff for cutlery to eat. Then had to ask again for steak knives. Meal was ok we all enjoyed only down side was the nachos I paid £6.99and literally just ate the cheese on top as chips weren’t nice few burnt and too many chillis. Myself and 3 teen all had separate meals only we all shared the pizza 10 mins to home and we all straight to bathroom 1 hr later and we still haven’t stopped stomaches agony too. It’s too coincidental given we were all perfectly fine before going.
