Great oysters and regional menu! Doesn’t feel like a hotel restaurant at all. Friendly service

We visited New Orleans for New Years and decided to try this spot. The food was good and worthy of 4 stars; however, I gave 2 stars because of our server. From the start our server made it so obvious he did not want to serve us. Since we were from out of town and it was our first time visiting the restaurant, we had a few questions. Got raw oysters and Oysters Rockefeller. Both were delicious. Special mention to the freshness of the raw oysters. Truly delicious. I know a restaurant doesn’t make the fresh oysters, but has to know where to purchase them so kudos to Trenasse staff for purchasing from a solid vendor.

Great cocktails, wine and service. My kids love it too.

I love the taste of trenasse, every dish is delicious and well cooked. Though the smell of kitchen is obvious from the table, I recommend this restaurant for sure.
