My goodness! FIRST- The service is wonderful. The hostess (her name escapes me, but nonetheless she is the kindest, sweetest girl in NOLA), Renee, our server was top notch! Service was slow, we waited a long time before being spoken to or greeted. Steak didn’t have much flavor-it was cooked a perfect medium rare. French onion soup was lukewarm. Sat at the bar for twenty minutes after asking for a menu and the bartender could not have cared less.
Lovely dinner on Halloween night. Great crowd that night. I usually get the spectacular slow roasted bone-in shirt rib which may no longer be on the menu. Our server mentioned that they took it off during covid and haven't brought it back. Instead I ordered the filet mignon with bearnaise sauce. It was delicious, and I highly recommend it.
