Don't know if it was the long journey to get to New Orleans or the long wait to get in this place, but it was a good burger. They only do steaks, burgers and bake potatoes. Burger has a nice grill on it and the baked potato was good as well. If you are looking for a burger, this might be your place. View all feedback.
What Steven M doesn't like about Port Of Call:
Decent place. Very laid back and casual. I wasn’t very impressed with the burger. It wasn’t bad but there was nothing great about it. The baked potato was good. Staff is very friendly. View all feedback.

I've been visiting this place for like 30 yrs. It's still the best burger I've ever had-if you like simple shredded cheddar, lettuce, onion, and tomato. It's not like these new age hipster burgers they got these days. It's dining in a bar setting and it hasn't changed since I first went there late 80s/early 90s. The only problem with this place is finding parking, it's usually crowded AF, and you'll be waiting.
Definitely sit in the bar area — the back room doesn’t have the same personality. Burgers themselves are great, the toppings meh.
Relaxed burger/steak restaurant with a NOLA tourist vibe.
