I expected better all around. The food was okay. The best dish ordered was the catfish and green beans.Grilled oysters too much smoke and had a strong wood or charcoal taste. Red beans and rice was undercooked, no flavor. Fried chicken just okay. Our waitress not at all helpful or friendly. It was our first time and she did not give a good first impression. The staff were very nice but the food wasn’t really good. Not enough seasoning/flavor.
I love the food and the atmosphere. Every time I come to New Orleans, I try to eat at this restaurant .
