Mr. Potato - Cozumel

We met the owners while on vacation who told us about their spot Mr. Potato in NOLA. Of course I wanted to try it the next time I visited NOLA. When we finally made our way here, I will say the disappointment was REAL!! This was our 1st meal of the day off the plane. We caught an Uber there, walked in noticed it was more so a Carryout. Looked at the menu ordered our food, the menu were a little sticky. When I asked to use the restroom to wash my hands, the young lady told us “it’s out of order.” UHH?? The place is NOT that big, with no working restroom?? 1st strike! While ordering we asked for sweet tea the young lady told us “we only have Sprite (pointing to 3 Sprites left) and strawberry lemonade.” Strike #2 The strawberry lemonade was a flavored/syrup (not good) not worth $3.25 for a medium. We ordered the seafood pasta in Cajun sauce. NOPE! It was more like a Mac Cheese with little crawfish tiny shrimp, the oysters were overcooked that the oysters were gone from the shell. Strike #3!! We were DONE!! The ONLY thing that was good were the seafood egg rolls. $68.00 for our food, not worth it. I’m all for supporting black owned businesses but we have to be on point in details as small as making sure the restrooms are in ordered for customers.

I placed in order on Doordash and got an estimated completion time of 12:45-12:50 on my order. Waited an extra 30 minutes for my food before canceling all because I asked how much longer it would be. I watched other people who order in-store and on-door dash walk in and out while I was treated like trash because I wanted to know how much longer it would be for a simple order.I will never order at the this establishment again! The staff members weren't very friendly or courteous at all. Y'all need to do better!

My roommate and I got loaded baked potatoes and wings, and they were amazing. Best wings I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant’s atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Definitely recommend this to anyone in New Orleans!

The food is really good. The service, the vibe is great there.. I went yesterday and going back today, I luv steak and shrimp baked potatoes can't find them anywhere else..

I ate at this place on Tulane. I took my friends because I told them how good my seafood quesadilla was. We waited almost 40 minutes for 1 quesadilla and two already cooked potatoes. They all loved me quesadilla their potatoes were not that good. Even with all the overachieving and reaching out was doing this is a clout restaurant not an actual food place. At least that quesadilla was bomb tho I will need order anything else
