The menu was intriguing and there are many five star reviews. Unfortunately this was the worst vegan restaurant we've been to. First everything was way too salty. They were out of a few things, but they should have told us they were out of more. We ordered the Greens and Cornbread. I was excited to try Max Well. This was a part of New Orleans that I had not yet ventured into on my trip here, and I really loved the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly. I was worried that it would be a bit busy on a Friday night, but it wasn't. I ordered the Ravioli. I could tell that a lot of thought went into the preparation of the dish and that the ingredients were well-sourced. Great tasting and very inventive plant based fare in a cozy cafe environment.
The Best Vegan food ever! The cornbread, and jalapeño poppers were so delicious. All Covid safety policies are in place at this restaurant.
