Lux Cafe - Cozumel

Great brunch spot. Service and food was amazing.. Highly recommend!

Went on a Monday morning. Took half an hour to get an omelet and a Benedict. The atmosphere is bad — wires on the walls, empty bar, one leftover floral painting from the 80s on a back wall. The whole experience felt cheap and half baked. The staff did not seem particularly cohesive or happy. Had we known, we would have gone to one of the other dozen restaurants in a block radius. Gave a second star because the food was ok and the server was very nice and apologetic for the slow service.

Unfortunately sat here for a half hour only to find out they lost our order after asking what happened. The house coffee tasted quite burnt. However the atmosphere was quite nice!

Went here to the Lux Cafe after the Two Chicks line was crazy and I have to say this place was great. The omelette was great, but could have been a little bit bigger. The potatoes were great and cooked to perfection and the waiter walking around was friendly and the cashier/owner was great too. Could have been something more entertaining on the tv though than news.

It was fine. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. I got the Fried Green Tomato Benedict. The biscuit was very interesting and crispy and delicious. The eggs were slightly overdone but still a little runny. The tomato was battered poorly and it fell off. Not enough hollandaise and it was described online as Cajun hollandaise but seemed like regular. The potatoes were super crispy and delicious and the salad was nice.
