This was a fancy and interesting experience. Make sure you’re not just stopping in as a pregame for bourbon st. The dress code is classy so be sure to dress to impress, or a least look decent. The bartender was a newer girl Alexis (I believe was her name. Apologies if I’m wrong). She was beyond accommodating and made some tasty drinks! What tata a doesn't like about Empire:
Next bar on my list was this one. I feel like I came at the wrong time, on the wrong day. The bartender was not nice, he seemed kind of bothered by my presence. It was a younger guy, not Paul, weirdly enough I meet Paul later that night at another bar lol. Anyway, they have a happy hour so I wanted to check it out. Don't use DoorDash to order, they will make the driver go all the way there only to say that the menu is outdated and they don't have anything on the menu.
Some of the best cocktails in the French Quarter. Historic and serious cocktails mixed perfectly.
The Ramos Gin Fizz live up to the hype! Bartenders made it with poise and ease, considered that they were bombarded with 6 of them at once. Atmosphere is fancy.
Devin is by far the best bartender I have ever met. His knowledge of all things mixed with Bourbon and/or Gin is mind blowing!! Try the Gin Fizz, then ask them to go off book!! Their off the cuff mixtures are worth making the trip to Nawlins!! C'Est Si Bon!!!
