Great atmosphere! Husband got a coffee drink The Drizzy and I got an affogato; Bananas Foster, banana gelato drowned in espresso with a caramel drizzle! So good! I highly recommend stopping in. View all feedback.
What Daniel Paez doesn't like about Drip Affogato Nola:
Terrible service. Not worth it. We walk in with the place completely empty. Bartender and waitress ignore us. Eventually, we are vaguely directed to sit somewhere. The bartender then comes up to us and tells us we sat in the wrong tables. Never have I had such a terrible service experience. 5 star prices for Waffle House service, no thank you! A spur of the moment stop for family desert; (1) Nola funky chic atmosphere, (2) awesome music selection, (3) amazing original takes on classic affogato deserts, and (4) friendly service. Definitely make this a stop on your NOLA trip!
Wow this place is AMAZING the highlight of my day. The staff is attentive and sweet and the vibe is so cool. Our cocktails, the espresso martini and the later alligator were perfection! Also the bourbon cheesecake and Zulu coconut affogato were the best desserts I've ever tasted. We'll be back!!!
Drip with an amazing twist on gelato. Affogato where do I starto? We stumbled into one of the coolest places in the Big Easy while in town for a conference. Off the beaten path but within a five minute walk of every hotel around. This chic and eclectic spot was nestled on Camp between Poydras and Canal and was a welcome sight to relax and chill. From the moment we spotted it on the sidewalk to the glance inside, we knew this was a must stop place. We were immediately welcomed by a warm staff who got right to work explaining what we were about to experience. Words cannot express what came next. All I can say is skip dessert and after dinner drinks wherever you are dining and go to Drip for that. It’s on the way to Bourbon and the prices are unbelievably inexpensive even though it feels to the contrary. There is even a hidden room in plain sight, for a surprise that is similar to a time when the speakeasy was everywhere. If you come to the Big Easy, the trip isn’t complete without giving Drip a try. Personally this place was top notch and no one will ever be disappointed. Bravo Zulu to the local owners for their sense of style, creative imaginations, excellent cocktails, stellar gelatos and top shelf service in a high class atmosphere you will remember for years!
This is now my go to bar in NOLA because they make the BEST espresso martinis! The servers are extremely welcoming and the space is super funky decorated so it’s a good pregame spot to go with friends or by yourself after a long day!
I love this place that service is great and so are the vibes and drinks!!
