One of our favorites which we always recommend to guests. This part of Esplanade is so pretty at night with all the sparkling lights and a table overlooking the street is perfect for people watching and enjoying the beauty of Esplanade while eating delicious food. Nice scenery, seemed to have quite the reputation, and an small area that can sometimes be overcrowded. Food was nothing to brag about, was told my Yellowfin tuna salad was “amazing,” but was very fishy tasting and did not have much flavor. The quail salad, the French mimosa and the crème brûlée are all excellent!
Beautiful eclectic location highlighting phenomenal traditional french foodie flavors! Our kids loved the escargot and quail. Family friendly afternoons; romantic date night hot spot. Cafe Degas is a favorite with locals, and right down the street from historical and tourist stops as well.

Hands down my favorite place to dine out in New Orleans. I’m from here and it’s a hidden gem.
