We were delighted to find this lovely Bistro on a warm summer Sunday. We were warmly greeted and directed to a window table. Our waiter was knowledgable and attentive. He walked us through the menu, giving advice when asked. We began with a recommended bottle of local white Vidal Dom Les Brome, which was delicious. What Gian Gonçalves doesn't like about Bistro West Brome:
The bistro is situated in a rural area, making it a wonderful spot for dining inside or outside. The menu is decent and the selection of wine by the glass is reasonably priced. While the region is famous for its duck farms, this bistro does not specialize in duck dishes. So if you're craving duck, this may not be the best choice for you. View all feedback.

He walked us through the menu, giving advice when asked. We began with a recommended bottle of local white Vidal Dom Les Brome, which was delicious. I chose the Bavette Angus for lunch, a 21 hour, tenderly marinated Angus flank steak with crispy fresh fries. It was perfect! Hubby had the Table d'Hote, two course lunch menu with a light, fresh salad with local greens and lamb, which he declared excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, the superior service, and the great food.
We visited three times and each time, always a great culinary experience. Impeccable service, delicious food, original in the local ingredients they use. Very nice time!
Very interesting menu: difficult choice, many dishes seem delicious. map of equally interesting wine, private import. vegan menu options, gluten-free. I opted for the risotto with wild mushrooms and kale ... rich, creamy, tasty. and desserts. chocolate truffles and sweet caramel.
Excellent service from beginning to end and meals more than excellent! from entry to dessert, we were charmed and come! My compliments to this great leader! Vegetables even come from their own garden!
We dined there two nights in a row. The first night was “à la carte”, and the second, we had the “Discovery” menu (which is established by the chef.) From the halibut to the gravlax, and to the scallops, the totally vegan salad and the homemade black pudding, everything was as tasty and beautiful as you would expect in a high-end restaurant. A must if you’re in the area…
