I discovered this place with a close friend of mine by mere accident, but i have gone to La Bodega time and again. Would you imagine eat splendid tapas in the main street of a small Quebec village ? What Ionamic doesn't like about La Bodega:
Coming from a Latino family, we were really looking forward to visit La Bodega. We first loved the quick service and by a Spanish speaking server. We ordered five Tapis, including Bombas Barcelona, Pulled Duck Chorizo with Cider, Fried Calamari and Sauteed Mushrooms . Most were favorful but with far too much oil and grease. The food portions here are large, but the taste is just okay, not that good.Dessert i don't recommed the Churros-(those were terrible, bland no flavor.)The service here on a Saturday evening is veryy slow.For how expensive this place is the quality taste of the food does not live up to the price.

The food was delicious and the service was good. They were understaffed so things were delayed and it took a while to pay when we were ready to leave.

The Paella rice and chicken were both quite dry. However, the Bavette was excellent, and the Tapas were good. Unfortunately, the Bombas lacked crunchiness. The service was average, likely due to a large group taking priority. Overall, the experience was okay, but given the $140 price tag, I had higher expectations.
