The smoothies here are delicious, and the vegan dishes are fantastic as well. I especially love her vegan Caesar salads! This is an update from my previous review on October 30, 2020. View all feedback.
What Linda Rogers doesn't like about Green Fork:
I bough an Acia Bowl barely had any fruit or granola and the cost was a rip off at $26 for two. The Big Squeeze you get your money’s worth. This was a little bit of smoothie with a few pieces of fruit. Won’t be going back. My husband didn’t feel like driving all the way to Mandeville. Will be though. View all feedback.
This was my first time ordering out since going vegan... I'm disappointed. I ordered a buda bowl online...they didn't have it...I told them anything vegan would be fine. When I got there, I was handed a cold lentil burger with cauliflower mash. Iasked if they had anything like a fresh salad type dish and was told no. I'm starving so I take it, trying to be positivedespite them having no fresh ingredients on hand to whip me up a salad. I throw it in the microwave and hope for thebest...nope...I had to blend everything together because of how it was heated up could only eat half mainly because of howsalty everything was. This experience wasn't what I hoped it would be not worth the $15 spent.
Loooooove the food here! The bowls, smoothies, juices, and desserts are all incredible. My go to takeout place for eating clean!
The sign clearly states that all pressed drinks are $9, but when I tried to order, I was charged $12. I was informed that the sign was outdated. I recommend either updating the sign or honoring the price that it displays for customers.
I tried the drink called Patience, and I have to say, it tasted like straight-up grass. It had the appearance and flavor of grass, and even though it was supposed to contain honey and banana, I didn't taste either of those ingredients. It was very watery, making me wonder if they forgot to add the banana altogether. While it may be a healthy option, when I get a salad, I appreciate its healthiness and the delicious flavors it offers; unfortunately, this liquid version of a salad didn't impress me. If you enjoy that fresh-cut grass flavor, you might love this place. I'm not sure if they're local, but it seems like they're aiming to cater to health-conscious consumers with their jams and healthy snack options, so I might give them another try in a few months.
I ordered an Açaí Bowl, and it barely had any fruit or granola—definitely not worth the $26 for two. At The Big Squeeze, you actually get your money's worth. This was more of a smoothie with just a few pieces of fruit. I won’t be returning. My husband didn’t feel like making the drive to Mandeville, but we will be going there instead.
