Reviews - Green Fork
Reviews summary
Located in a bustling area, this restaurant offers a variety of options that cater to different dietary needs, from paleo enthusiasts to raw vegan lovers. While the smoothies and vegan dishes receive high praise for their flavor and creativity, inconsistency in preparation and pricing has frustrated some patrons. For instance, acai bowls lacking sufficient toppings and unexpected charges on pressed drinks have raised concerns. Additionally, the establishment's labeled gluten-free options have caused confusion, particularly for those with celiac disease. Despite these issues, many continue to enjoy the comforting atmosphere and wide range of healthy choices.

This restaurant is a dream come true for paleo lovers. They also provide amazing raw vegan food choices! I truly appreciate both their Nola location and this one. Their soups are exceptionally comforting and perfect for a rainy day. View all feedback.
What Linda Rogers dislikes about Green Fork:
I ordered an Acai Bowl that had very little fruit or granola, and at $26 for two, it felt like a rip-off. The Big Squeeze offers better value for your money. This bowl was mostly smoothie with just a few pieces of fruit. I won’t be returning. My husband didn’t want to drive all the way to Mandeville, but I will. View all feedback.

Excellent choices/preparation/ingredients. Very pleased with “Patience” and “Enhale” smoothies. The high volume of the smoothie machine interrupts normal conversation. Decor is unique.

I love the green fork on the south shore and was so excited when we got one in Covington. I called today to place a to go order. My first request was for a pesto Caesar salad and add chicken. The gentleman on the phone said he can do a Caesar salad with chicken and add pesto I said fine then he said no I 'm out of it and I said OK and he said I can do a pesto Caesar and add chicken and I said that would be great then he said he couldn 't do that either. I placed my order and he hung up on me without even getting a name. When my friend went to go pick it up he did not put the order together and acted like we had not even called and had a conversation with him. I ended up ordering the Cajun girl chicken salad after reading the description online with no mention of bell peppers. My order arrived and the salad has bell peppers in it and I 'm highly allergic to them so it 's headed for the trash now. Not like the service you get at Green Fork on the south shore.
Got a green smoothie. I wish I could remember the name of it but it was so tasty! Highly recommend The Green Fork.
This was my first time ordering from Green Fork since going vegan, and I’m disappointed. I ordered a Buddha bowl online, but they didn’t have it. I told them any vegan option would be fine. When I arrived, they gave me a cold lentil burger with cauliflower mash. I asked if they had anything like a fresh salad, but was told no. Hungry, I decided to take it and stayed hopeful despite the lack of fresh ingredients. I microwaved the meal, but it didn’t improve. I had to blend everything together because of how it was heated, and I could only eat half due to how salty it was. This experience fell short of my expectations and definitely wasn’t worth the $15.

The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is both delicious and healthy, and the lady working there is incredibly kind!
The restaurant is not completely celiac-safe or gluten-free. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and fortunately, I check everything before I eat because I found wheat croutons in the salad, which was labeled gluten-free. I think many people confuse celiac disease with simply following a gluten-free diet. For some, dietary choices are a preference, but for those of us with celiac disease, it's not a choice—it's a necessity.
I ordered an Açaí Bowl, and it had hardly any fruit or granola—definitely not worth the $26 for two. At The Big Squeeze, you really get your money's worth. This felt more like a smoothie with just a few bits of fruit. I won't be coming back. My husband didn’t want to drive to Mandeville, but we will be heading there instead.
I absolutely love the food here! The bowls, smoothies, juices, and desserts are all amazing. This is my go-to spot for healthy takeout!
This was my first time ordering takeout since going vegan, and I have to say, I'm disappointed. I ordered a Buddha bowl online, but they didn’t have it available. I mentioned that anything vegan would be fine. When I arrived, I was given a cold lentil burger with cauliflower mash. I asked if they had something akin to a fresh salad, and was told no. I was really hungry, so I accepted what they gave me, trying to stay positive despite the lack of fresh ingredients. I put it in the microwave, hoping for the best, but it didn’t turn out well. I ended up having to blend everything together because of how it was heated. I could only eat half of it, mainly due to how salty it was. Overall, this experience was not what I had hoped for, and I don't think it was worth the $15 I spent.
