The Veal Parmesan and Grilled Shrimp appetizer were absolutely delicious, as was the hot buttered french bread that came with everything. Can't say enough about the excellent service.

It is hard to f... read more I have been a customer most of my life...at the Terrytown, Algiers, and Covington locations and this has always been in my top 10 places to eat. It is hard to find a better roast beef poboy. Today might have been an off day or maybe COVID19 is affecting things, but our food was not good. The prices are a bit on the high side to begin with so we expect great food. My husband had fish and shrimp and his shrimp were not fresh he did not eat too many. He didn't complain because usually a restaurant knows what they are cooking, how old their seafood is, etc. so he didn't bother. My roast beef poboy was cold not even lukewarm but still tasted very good except for the bread having a strange taste (maybe it was frozen at one time and tasted like freezer). Again, I stress, I have never had this happen before. My red beans were excellent and hot! The gumbo was good except the shrimp seemed like they were put in after it was already cooked and seemed a little undercooked. That being said, I ate every bite and will give them another chance. Like someone else said, we all have an off day!!

Lunch special is half a poboy of your choice and a cup of gumbo, and a side of potato salad for like 12 bucks. Excellent atmosphere and awesome service. The food is to die for....????
