Indian Village Coventry

Indian food away from home. We used to visit it frequently. yummy food. Lassi is also very good. Must visit in coventry.

I read that this restaurant used to be excellent in the past. I recently tried one of their vegetarian curries, which was decent. However, their Aloo and paneer parathas were outstanding and authentic from an Indian perspective. Since they offer authentic Indian parathas, I would give them a very good rating.

The service at this restaurant is terrible! Most of the time, they don't have many items on their menu available. They only offer a few options to choose from, and I have never received my exact order when dining there. The staff constantly tries to persuade you to change your order and select something else, which can be frustrating when they don't have anything you actually want, despite having a wide variety of dishes listed on the menu. This all happened during their busiest hours! The staff is rude, the customer service is awful - overall, it's simply not worth it.

We visited the Indian Village restaurant in Coventry, on our first visit to this town, as we were staying close by. The lady, whom I can only assume was the owner was so helpful, even though we only came in for a take away. The aroma hit your senses as soon as you walked in, that you knew immediately that the food would be great. Just as I had thought, the curry that I ordered was so authentic and flavoursome that it reminded me of home. The parathas were also one of the best that I had tasted for a long time, and were on a par with the food that I have purchased from my local restaurants in Southall, London. I would definitely come back to this gem of a find in Coventry. Kamla.

The best parathas in the whole coventry. They have many varieties as well as other indian foods as well. The cheese and onion paratha is the best with achar they give. yummie..!!!
