Allesley House Take Away - Coventry

We’ve used this Chinese for years, only the last couple of times there’s been issues with the food, items missing despite ordering and paying for, rude management telling us they don’t need our business anyway and to use another Chinese.

Excellent food, easily the best Chinese take away in Coventry. I drive passed 2 other Chinese take aways to collect from Allesley house because the food is just delicious.

Ordered a takeaway and when we got home 15mins away they had forgot to put sweet sour source in with the chicken , phoned them and had a very rude staff member answer with an really bad attitude he eventually said he would give me a free source next time, I said how’s it free when we have already paid for it. I asked for a replacement sweet sour chicken next time and they said no chance. He put the manager on who started shouting at me and was extremely rude!!! The food was over £21 and what a waste of money, terrible. Never will we use this take away again!! Disgusting behaviour!!!!

Been going here for 26 years there is nowhere in Coventry that can compare to allesley house Chinese Absolutely fantastic food and portions are a great size

Been eating here since I can remember, the food is amazing, service great ,, this is without a doubt the best Chinese in cov , tried everywhere else but always come back to here , special chow mein is unbelievable, massive portion
