Four of us met up on a Sunday for a pre-booked lunch at this establishment, which is known to fill up quickly on Sundays. We enjoyed a delicious meal with generous portions of meat and fresh vegetables. The staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barnard Castle. Having tried a few restaurants in the area, I can confidently say that this one stands out as a great option. View all feedback.
What loubaz doesn't like about The Teesdale:
Popped in for lunch. A tuna and cheese wrap and a bacon and Brie panini. Both came with real chips and salad and it was impossible to eat all that came so I took half my wrap home for my lunch the next day. View all feedback.
Come across this restaurant while in the area. Sat outside with our dogs had sandwiches which were excellent and they came with home cooked chips, coleslaw and salad. Great value too and the staff were great even brought water out for our dogs. Really enjoyed our lunch.
Called one Monday lunch time after seeing reviews on tripadvisor , they where not wrong . Some of our party had the roast dinner it came with 5 different veg , 2 had veggie cottage pie and myself had scampi (LOADS OF SCAMPI . Everybody said how tasty the meals where . You get quality and quantity with a smile . THANKYOU
Carefull, you may enter thin but you will leave fat. The portion sizes are huge, the food is delicious, and the service always leaves you smiling. For those not brave enough to sit in the take always are recommended and the sweet treat boxes are addictive. You have been warned.
Sunday dinner was absolutely delicious as always very generous portions and the staff are always very friendly. We also got apple and bramble crumble with custard, again absolutely lovely. All this for £18, an absolute bargain, we have ours ordered every week
Highly recommended the Teesdale diner, consistent tasty food, excellent portions, value for money and really lovely friendly staff who always make you feel welcome and are flexible in your personal dietary needs.
