Highly recommend giving this place a try.

I ordered the perfect pi... read more I went for a roast dinner on New Year's Day. I was told over the phone that we would receive one, but the chef said no when we arrived. I ordered the perfect pie, which was served with plastic-like mashed potatoes and raw vegetables. The pie was terrible, and the experience was disappointing for me.

I chose the 2-course option and had the featherblade of beef for my main course and Baileys cheesecake for dessert. The beef was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth, and the homemade cheesecake was also delicious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience at the Alligator.

This review most likely removed as they don't like truth.hope it improves but we won't be returning

Without doubt Dean is doing a fantastic job to return the “Alligator’s” reputation to the level it was last year. No hesitation in recommending the pub.
