The Hahnenhund (Chicago style) was fantastic! One of the best hot dogs I've ever had. It had the perfect snap in the outer skin on the first bite! Not many places that serve hot dogs get that right, and you won't find any hot dogs like these in food stores. It was amazing to find this in a small town in Texas! Pleasantly surprised to have spotted a place making Chicago style Vienna hot dogs in South Texas. I spun around a semi to pull over and order a couple hot dogs. Glad I did. Bubba is a cool dude. Looking forward to dining in my next time through.
This place doesn't look like much but, they have an Italian beef sandwich that is one of the best sandwiches I have ever ate. Also the people that run it are very nice.
