This is a very nice establishment with quality food. I'm a little spoiled to warm chips and salsa from my hometown. However, the flavor was spot on. My husband and I both enjoyed what we ordered. He said the chicken breast was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My beef fajita chimichanga was blenketed with a yummy white queso, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Service was a little slow, though it was early lunch... View all feedback.
What Leslieann H doesn't like about El Charro:
I waited for 3 hours for my food and when it finally arrived the torta was soggy and the chicken was dry. The gringo fries were also disappointing - old and soggy. View all feedback.
This restaurant that travels for work, and I could not have been more satisfied with great food and service! do not let them be fooled by the situation or some clientels if they are in the opposite go eat, the fajitas and margaritas yummy! very costly location also
Eating is okay. there are better places in cotulla than these. the waitress gives really bad service!. They can see how they eat and talk all the time I was there. while waiting for simple tortilla orders. that took over for 15 minutes when my eating was already cold. give them a certain lunchtime or break time. so they can give the customer attention
It is not the best Mexican food ever, but it is the best they find in cotulla. It's a bit expensive, but it's an oil town. eating comes really fast and it is consistently quite good
The 6 mini-tacos! I'm a taco fiend and these tacos are the best I ever had. alambre and pastor combo! I am in the city for work and have eaten here 2 nights in order have the tacos both paint! the best.
Charros is the restaurant I always turn to for a delicious meal.
