The staff guided me upstairs and despi... read more While in Moreton for work, I discovered that Raj Mahal was conveniently located near my hotel with a quick Google search. The staff guided me upstairs and despite being busy, I had the option to choose a table. I was promptly given a menu and placed my drink order. There was a slight delay (about 20 minutes) before my food order was taken, but the staff were apologetic as they were clearly busy serving other customers, making drinks, and taking phone orders. The menu offered a variety of delicious options at a reasonable price, and my food arrived hot and tasty. I definitely plan on returning as a customer! After my meal, I was provided with a complimentary hot towel and shot of spirits. The staff was attentive and friendly, and despite their suggestion not to leave a tip because of the delay in taking my food order, I felt that my overall experience deserved one. I highly recommend Raj Mahal for anyone looking for great food in the area.

My husband even mentioned that it was one of the best curries he has ever had, and we eat them regularly. The service was very quick and the waiters were attentive, despite how busy it was. In my opinion, I can't understand how anyone could leave a bad review. I felt compelled to leave a positive one as soon as I finished my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

When I was settling the bill, the waiter hovered over me and strongly recommended that I leave a 20% tip. I always tip but don't appreciate being pressured. I felt uncomfortable and found it disrespectful.

Having had a takeaway last year we kne... read more Even though it was full to the rafters due to the Christmas Lights turn on, the service was great and food was delicious. Having had a takeaway last year we knew exactly where we wished to dine this evening and so glad we did. Chicken tikka rezala and chicken thighs special(can’t remember the name) both were so tasty and perfectly spiced my mouth is still watering from the flavours. Thank you, the little old fashioned touches like a hot cleansing wipe, cheeky after eight mint and a liquor toddy to end the meal, for us just hits the spot. A fabulous dining experience, buzzing with happy customers speaks for itself. Definitely returning.
