It was busy the staff looked a bit frazzled initially, but were very engaging after we’d sat down. Excellent ales wine, the roast beef was stunningly good, with filled Yorkshire pud great mix of veg. Had the sticky toffee pudding (shared it as we were full! which was also superb. Really really good!!

Liver superb, but the lamb pie was quite small and not enough lamb in it but very tasty. Staff were excellent. Quite expensive but then everywhere is nowadays.
