I recently dined at a beautiful country Inn and Pub for lunch. The ambiance of the place, both inside and out, was charming. Although I originally planned to sit outside, I was drawn to the inviting conservatory with a view of the courtyard filled with greenery and blooming flowers. I ordered the Salmon dish, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fish sat on a bed of julienne vegetables and was accompanied by new potatoes, all topped with a delicious lemon mayonnaise. While I skipped the starter and dessert, I couldn't help but notice how appetizing they looked as they passed by other tables. The portion size was just right for me, and despite my small appetite, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Despite the two-hour drive it took me to get there, I will definitely return to this pub solely for the amazing food.

Went with family friends, greeted by very rude and abrupt staff/owners.... told our children to not play and be quiet

During this difficult time we have been extremely lucky to have Jules, Kev and the staff at the Kilkenny. They quickly organised a safe and effective way to supply delicious food with allotted collection times. A couple of weeks ago we had fish and chips, both my husband and I said it was the best piece of fish we have had as a take away and would thoroughly recommend this dish. Today we had lunch, belly pork and marmalade bread pudding with custard, absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Kilkenny. Kilkenny is a fascinating place, and the Killkenny Inn was perfect to our needs. The room was large, and tidy, and the breakfast was good. It was in a handy location to explore the attractions on foot. There was convenient parking out the back. The lady at check in couldn't have been more helpful, and printed our boarding passes. Much appreciated

A special lunch for my wife and grandmother arranged by our 4 daughters and their partners at The Kilkenny Inn, 13 in total for a choice of Sunday roasts 2 or 3 courses. Excellently presented food lovely home made starters and a great choice of puddings. The owners take care with the food and wine, clearly knowledgable at both. Lovely interior and atmosphere in this typically English pub. Recommended.
