Reviews - Johnny's Java Cotati
Reviews summary
Johnny's Java stands out as a charming café in Cotati, combining a cozy atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff. Patrons rave about the quality and variety of offerings, including organic blended coffee and breakfast burritos, along with delectable pastries. While the ambiance may feel slightly outdated, the cleanliness and organization of the space enhance the overall experience. Customer loyalty is evident, with staff remembering regulars. However, some inconsistency in pricing for dine-in coffee may perplex customers. With its welcoming vibe and strong community spirit, Johnny's Java is a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.

The ambiance is excellent, with convenient parking and a friendly, professional staff. I enjoyed a well-made cappuccino, perfectly balanced in foam to espresso ratio. However, the quality of the espresso itself was lacking—bitter and short on flavor. It might have just been an off day for the coffee, so I’ll still give it 4 stars. View all feedback.

It was challenging to hear the cashier through the plexiglass. As for kid-friendliness, they offer options suitable for children.
Charming cafe with incredibly friendly staff. I ordered a brown sugar latte and a breakfast burrito, both of which were quite tasty. They also have a community library that features some fascinating books.

Excellent location, welcoming staff, and fantastic coffee and pastries. Definitely worth a visit!
I really enjoy the organic mixed coffee here, and the burritos are delicious! The staff is friendly too. If you're driving through Cotati, be sure to stop by—you won't be disappointed.
This place is fantastic! I first started coming here because my friends and I host a podcast where we play an RPG game, and we covered a three-episode arc featuring Johnny's Java. Plus, their Guatemalan roast is excellent!
The best coffee spot in the area! You can really sense the dedication in this charming little café. Thank you!

I finally stopped by Johnny's Java after passing it numerous times. The café is clean and well-organized, although the décor and furniture feel a bit outdated. They offer a nice selection of muffins and pastries, all of which looked delicious; I was pleased to see both vegan and gluten-free options, even though I didn't try any. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the coffee I ordered, which tasted burnt. Additionally, I found the pricing to be rather puzzling. A large coffee in a to-go cup costs $3, which is completely reasonable. However, wanting to be eco-friendly and stay for a while to work, I requested a mug for here. The mug was quite small, about 8 oz, and cost $2.75 with an additional $1.75 for a refill. In the end, I ended up paying more for the smaller serving than I would have for a large to-go cup, despite getting the same amount of coffee.

I like this place. Service is good. People are nice. Food is mostly good. Coffee is good. We only go once a year. But we got because it's very reasonable and reliable
