Thank you fellow Yelpers for your insight on Marvin's! As expected on a Sunday there is a bit of a wait for a table (just for 2 of us), but it wasn't bad. The place was very busy. There's counter seating for those who would like to be served more quickly. Since I'm trying to eat low carb I opted for their Joe's Scramble with a side of fruit and hubby went with their Country Fried Steak with hash browns, over medium eggs, an English muffin. He said it was one of the best Country Fried steaks he's ever had. I enjoyed my scramble and the hot coffee. Friendly service with smiles. I liked it here very much. There is a bit of a wait for staff to take our order, but it wasn't terribly long. Looking forward to trying other things next time!

There may be a bit of a wait to be seated as they're often busy, and there may be a bit of a wait to get food as they make everything fresh. Some menu items may be better than others. But the staff is friendly, the food is generally good and they accept modifications, and the interior and menu is classic diner style. It's a neighborhood staple.

The restaurant was pretty packed on a Friday morning when we arrived, and shortly after being seated, there became a wait to be seated. This surprised me for a weekday mid morning. I took it as a good sign that it's popular for a reason. We decided to have breakfast here as we had a coupon from a sports fundraiser booklet we purchased for a buy one get one free entree. It is nice to know that they support local youth sports programs. I had the two eggs breakfast with sausage and bacon, and opted for the hash browns and sourdough toast. Everything was prepared to my liking, including lots of butter on the perfectly toasted bread. It also came with a little side of homemade jam that was really tasty. I was happy that the meats were of high quality and had good flavor. My honey had the full stack pancake breakfast. I kept stealing bites of his pancakes because they were so good. Definitely going to be one of my orders on future visits. The Orange juice is fresh squeezed and full of natural pulp as they prepare it fresh on site. They use farm fresh eggs as well. It just doesn't get any better than this!

Definitely great prices and good quality and quantity of food! Gets packed real quick on weekends! But it's because they're really good! Definitely a must try!
