We typically order pizza from Pizza Guy whenever we're on vacation, but now I plan to not only keep ordering from them but also spread the word about how fantastic they are. When Hurricane Earl approached the Outer Banks, Corolla was evacuated, leading to a massive traffic jam where cars were stuck for hours. We found ourselves parked in front of the shopping center where Pizza Guy is located, so we decided to walk over. Although they were closed, we saw them preparing for the storm. A number of other people joined us, and they graciously let everyone in and made pizzas. This really helped make the long wait to leave the island much more tolerable! Thank you, Pizza Guy! We'll be back next year!
I’ve ordered pizza from The Pizza Guy before and had great experiences with both the food and the service. However, yesterday I was shocked by the terrible customer service. I ordered a medium pizza but received a large one instead. While I was eating, I started to wonder if I had been charged for the larger size, so I returned to inquire about it. After several minutes of confusion and frantic tapping on the touchscreen by the two middle-aged women working there, I asked, “Is this hard to figure out?” One of them snapped back, “No, it’s not!” Then she handed me $3.52 without any apology. That was disappointing.
