With it being on a resort and poolside, i thought the food was gonna be overpriced and underwhelming but that was not the case. Got probably the most dense crab cakes of my life, like they do not skimp you whatsoever. Which they better not since it's like 50 bucks for two of em, but honestly so fresh I could say they r the best cakes i've ever had. The drinks were heavy handed, the service was awesome, and the view is stellar. They make their own ranch btw v good. My date got the filet which she said was top 3 best filets she's ever had, I only got one bite of it as she was not keen sharing, and once I tasted it I realized why. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Don't forget to add on the garlic butter it's worth it.

And we were totally blown away with... read more Me and my family have been coming to OBX for over 10 years, and this was the first time we have heard of Oceanfront Grille. And we were totally blown away with great food and awesome service from Kelly and staff. Now I will day we were a little skeptical about trying the crab cakes, but when we heard the owner was from Maryland, we breathed a sigh of relief. Oceanfront Grille will be the only place that I will be getting a crab cake from in OBX. Everything was delicious, from the lamb chops, to the shrimp Wellington, to the calamari, the food was phenomenal. We will be adding the Oceanfront Grille to our list of restaurants whenever we visit OBX. So if your in the Corolla section of OBX, make it your justice to stop in and have dinner

Our server Brandy was great and made the dinner very enjoyable. There was one truly disappointing thing had nothing to do with the food or service. THE FLIES WERE AWFUL! We had 10-12 flies flying around our table and landingon our food while we were trying to enjoy our meal. Not an ideal situation for a relaxing meal. Food and service great, flies areal problem.
