This is the best Mexican food I have ever tasted - fresh, delicious, and with great portion sizes at an affordable price. The customer service is always excellent as well.
Returning from Montreal we did not want to stop at En Route for a meal. Neveri having been to cornwall, we checked Tripadvisor to find a restaurant. We were delighted to find Tampico's. Unlike the chains, this owner operated drive in provides authentic Mexican food, because the ingredients are fresh. The spices tingle the tastebuds. There is not a lot of room inside or out. It seems much of the business is take out, including a pair of detectives, always good to ask for restaurant choices. I had a burrito, ample for lunch. The refried beans were smooth and silky. Tampico's is worth pulling off the highway for lunch.
